Real Life at the Mews

Adult Retirement/Community Living – Is it for me?

Issue 63 – May 2016

Spring in Bayfield

Bayfield Mews is now preparing to open the Second Phase of our community and we are currently taking reservations.  We only have eight homes left to reserve in the Second Phase and we are looking forward to confirming reservations for them in 2016!

Our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18, or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

The following are examples of a few of the many events that will be taking place during the month of May in Bayfield:

  • London’s Dream Home Lottery includes a very unique home here in Bayfield. It is a new concept in home building, “A Shipping Container Home”. Viewing hours are from Friday to Sunday, 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M. and it will be open on Victoria Day. The address for this unique home is 28 Cameron Street.
  • The Bayfield Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale is set for Saturday, May 7th and it will run from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in Clan Gregor Square. This is a great opportunity to buy great plants and help support the Bayfield Garden Club’s activities.
  • On May 18th, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the Bayfield Town Hall, the Bayfield Historical club is sponsoring a presentation called, “Who is Florence Nightingale”, and those attending will have the opportunity to find out as guest speaker, Lynn MacDonald will share her vast knowledge of this historical figure.
