Adult Retirement/Community Living — Is it for me?

Autumn in Bayfield

We are well into the Autumn Season and construction on Block 2 is continuing to move along at great speed. The four homes under construction in Block 2 are the last homes in our Phase 1. We still have openings in our Phase 2 and construction is scheduled for the beginning of 2017.

As usual, our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18, or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

The following are examples of a few of the many events that will be taking place during the month of October in Bayfield:

  • The Bayfield Town Hall Heritage Society invites community members to a special concert with the incredible story teller/songwriter, Valdy, on Thursday, October 20, 2016. He has been part of the fabric of Canadian Pop and Folk Music for almost 40 years. Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door (if any are still available). Tickets can be purchased through www.ticketscene.com, from Ernie King Music in Goderich or by calling Sandy Scotchmer at 519-565-2830.
  • The Bayfield River Valley Trail Association (BRVTA) will be holding their second annual Fall Harvest Dinner and Dance on October 15, 2016, at Renegades Diner. Tickets are $35.00 and the evening starts at 6:00 p.m., with a Reception and Silent Auction and dinner at 7:00 p.m. After dinner, attendees can dance to live music by “Cheap Shirts”.
