Adult Retirement/Community Living – Is it for me?
Issue 69 November 2016
Autumn in Bayfield
The leaves are changing to beautiful oranges, reds and golds in the Mews and construction on Block 2 is reaching its conclusion with our new neighbours moving into their new homes in the next few weeks. These four homes in Block 2 are the last homes in our Phase 1. We still have openings in our Phase 2 and construction is scheduled for the beginning of 2017.
As usual, our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after–hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18, or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
The following are examples of a few of the many events that will be taking place during the month of November in Bayfield.
- The Little Inn of Bayfield invites everyone to an evening of suspense, murder and intrigue as they host a Murder Mystery extravaganza on November 5, 2016. “The Black Pearl Murder Mystery” will be presented by Bayfield’s own talented author and historian, Judith Knightley and will feature many local and notable village talents. The dinner and show is $58.00 per person. Seating is limited so everyone interested is encouraged to call 1-800-565-1832 to reserve their seats.
- Those people who enjoy playing cards should mark on their calendars a special fundraising event for the Bayfield Town Hall. A Bridge and Mah Jongg Social will be held at the Town Hall on November 2, 2016, starting at 1:00 P.M. A Wine and Cheese Party will follow the games. Please call 519-565-2202 for more information or to buy a ticket.
